Hello, I'm Louise, and I founded Loudle Design in 2020. I've always had a passion for art, and I started drawing at a young age with hopes of attending art school, but that didn't work out. Over the years, my life took a different path. Now, I've reignited my love for drawing and textiles, showcasing my unique self-taught style, which is influenced by nature and the picturesque Norfolk, my beloved home. I create my sketches using Indian ink and watercolour, often finding inspiration during walks, where I make rough sketches, generate ideas, and sometimes take photographs for reference. It's important for me to have a personal connection with my subject in order to draw from the heart. I prioritise using recycled and sustainable materials, and I produce my art on natural papers with Fine Art Giclee printing, as well as incorporarating my designs for lampshades and cushions and homewares, all crafted by me to bring a touch of nature into the home. Additionally, I use biodegradable packaging to support the environment, as it's crucial to me to show respect for the world around me and make a positive impact on nature and the environment.
